Plain End
The ‘Plain End’ is obtained by merely cutting the hose to length and is a common end finish on fabric wrapped and braided hose. Note that where the hose has an embedded wire, this will still be present in the hose end.
Soft End
Wire embedded hose with ‘Soft Ends‘ (or ‘ends clear of wire’) are normally specified to facilitate spigot insert and to ease clamping.
Expanded End (Enlarged End)
Expanded ends are available on all wrapped fabric construction, hand built hose with the end being diametrically enlarged to accommodate the OD of a metal spigot. Customer to specify hose ID (A), cuff diameter (B) and cuff depth (C). Maximum end enlargements are as follows:
